ThesisHuman is operated by Valnorix Labs LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our academic text humanization and copilot services.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your public profile information from Google.
Usage Data
We collect anonymized analytics data including pages visited, feature usage patterns, and session duration to improve our services. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for this purpose.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by our payment processor, Polar.sh. We never store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information on our servers.
3. How We Handle Your Text
Your documents are stored securely in your account. When you humanize or generate text through our AI Humanizer or Academic Copilot, the document is saved to your account so you can revisit, edit, download, and manage it from your dashboard. Your documents are private to you, protected by 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption in transit and database row-level security so that only you can access them, and we never sell or share them with third parties. You can delete any document, or your entire account, at any time (see Data Retention below).
We never use your text to train AI models. Your research, drafts, dissertations, and any other content you process through ThesisHuman are never used to train or improve any public or private AI models.
Guest teaser previews are temporary. If you use the landing-page preview without signing in, the submitted draft and generated result expire 24 hours after generation. During that window, they are retained solely to enforce guest limits and let you claim the result after creating an account. Expired, unclaimed guest text is removed by automated cleanup. If you claim a preview after signing in, it becomes a private document in your account and follows the account retention rules below. This guest cleanup never deletes documents belonging to authenticated users.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and secure our services
- To manage your account, authentication, and subscription billing
- To send essential transactional notifications (account confirmation, password resets, billing receipts, and support replies)
- To send occasional product communications (major model updates like Ghosty V5.2, workspace improvements, monthly quota notices, and promotional offers) where permitted
- To monitor usage against your plan’s word allowances
- To improve our platform based on anonymized analytics
5. Email Communications & Unsubscribe Rights
We respect your inbox. You will always receive essential transactional emails necessary for account security and subscription operation.
For non-transactional communications (product announcements, model updates, research writing tips, and promotional offers), you can opt out at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email or by contacting support@thesishuman.com. Unsubscribing from marketing emails will never affect your essential account notices.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data with trusted service providers strictly necessary to operate the platform.
7. Data Security
We employ industry-standard security measures including 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, secure authentication with row-level security policies, and regular security audits.
8. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Document metadata (titles, timestamps, word counts) is stored to provide your document history feature. Anonymous teaser text is subject to the separate 24-hour expiry described above.
